“…anyone who’s already watching digital TV broadcasts (which includes HDTV) via an antenna is good to go. But millions of old analog TV sets using just an antenna will go blank, displaying the snowy screen that for decades has meant the lack of a TV signal. Later, Congress set June 12, 2009 as the final date that full power television stations can broadcast analog signals. As of June 13, 2009, full power television stations will only broadcast digital, over-the-air signals. Your local broadcasters may make the transition before then, and some already have. The digital transition is underway. Prepare now! @Y2p731 If kids watching this channel in child’s room without converter box, wow, you’re right they will scared.
I have cable. This is an old 1983 Zenith (serial Z1908W) that I pulled out of the attic. The antenna is a wire coat hanger
Do you have cable or satellite? And is this a spare TV?
watching cartoons laid on floor……. ohhhhhh, I miss that
My hat is off to you. Analog TV was a big part of my life for over 20 years! Unfortunately, I missed the transition to digital.
Wow, that moment scared the children. LOL.
LMFAO!!!!!!!!! I wish…lol jk jk
That’s right, soon Alec Baldwin will be drinking your brain through a straw.
You’re a douche.
There is still a signal we simple have to tune to the new signal and thats what the boxes are for. Its not like TV signals are gone as of June 12, 2009. That there would be a big big deal.
P.S. (post scriptum for the fools) This is all part of the plane to make way for real, national and the like IDs mark of the beast.

What wonder drug are you on?
how come my TV quit working? does this have something to do with it?
Glad to see some tape the transition, this is actually catching a part of world history if you think about it, because tv will never be the same again..no more analog signals
thanks for uploading that. I was very curious how it would happen. Thanks
Yes!! Was hoping somebody would mark the occassion. News reports are just blah, blahing about how to hook up your box. A look at the history of television from the 50s til now would’ve been good.
this is like an alien world domination take over of tvs!
cool ive been ready since 2007 with my Sony HDTV.
Its scary to just to stare at that snowy screen lol
I actually wanted to do this too, but I don’t get any analog signals out where I live. Guess I won’t be getting them in the future either.
wow…
